KILKENNY SHIFT

Kilkenny always had a very distinct lack of forums, where it’s members can meet and chat, debate and agree about anything they want. There are a few forums out there in Kilkenny but they tend to be dedicated to a certain area. So we decided to create our own forums. The idea is to provide an interactive experience for it’s members.

What can I do?
Anything really. You can talk about club and county hurling, recent matches. What promotions are in local shops. Share photos of Kilkenny. Talk about the Kilkenny music scene. Politics. Agree. Disagree. Ask questions. Anything you want. If you are a business you can advertise there for free. Contact us for more details.

Yesterday (Wednesday) was the launch of this year’s annual ‘Guinness Kilkenny Rhythm & Roots Festival’. Featuring over 80 acts from several countries, this music festival is sure not to disappoint.
From Friday 1st May to Monday 4th May, Kilkenny is bound to have a unrivalled atmosphere in the country for the May bank holiday weekend.
Here is a list of the gig guide and the current line up for the festival.
Not all gigs are free so remember to book early if tickets are involved.
